About This Project

For the second time, Unternehmen Mitte — one of Basel’s most iconic cultural and coworking spaces — has chosen a VS vehicle to expand its coffee service. This time, the choice fell on an electric Ape Smart transformed into a compact and stylish mobile coffee bar.

Known for its vibrant community and café culture, Unternehmen Mitte uses this mobile coffee bar to bring its offering directly to people — inside courtyards, event spaces and public areas — without the limits of a fixed setup. The result is a flexible coffee point that adapts to flows, moments and locations.

Powered by an electric motor, this mobile coffee bar combines sustainability with efficiency. Silent, emission-free and easy to position, it is ideal for indoor and outdoor environments where environmental impact and user experience matter.
