Since then, beer has been produced in large copper fermentation tanks placed at the centre of the venue.<\/p>\n<p><a place several times a week, for a total of around 3,000 hectolitres of beer per year.<\/p>\n<p>All the beers produced are natural, unfiltered and free from chemical additives.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>The terrace<\/h2>\n<p>The outdoor terrace offers a beautiful view over the River Aare and, especially in summer, is full of people enjoying good moments because it consists of a single two-floor suite, created inside the old toll house.<\/p>\n<p><a stay, only a short distance from the city\u2019s main attractions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>The gelato workshop<\/h2>\n<p>The depot also houses a workshop for the production of artisanal gelato and href=\"https:\/\/www.vsveicolispeciali.com\/en\/street-food-truck\/ice-cream-van-eiswerkstatt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ice-cream van<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>In 2024, the workshop equipped itself with an <strong>ice-cream van<\/strong>, with the aim of bringing its gelato throughout the city.<\/p>\n<p>To do so, Altes Tramdepot turned to VS Veicoli Speciali, an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vsveicolispeciali.com\/en\/buy-street-food-truck\/mobile-food-vending-trucks-and-vans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Italian food truck manufacturer<\/a> well known across Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration quickly resulted in an <strong>ice-cream van<\/strong> perfectly in tune with the style and identity of the workshop.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vsveicolispeciali.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/piaggio-porter-gelateria-mobile-eiswerkstatt.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" rel=\"noopener\">Porter Piaggio Craft X<\/a>, fitted with 16 gelato wells, a drinks refrigerator and a kitchen area.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Piaggio Porter ice-cream van<\/strong> is spacious, allows three operators to work at the same time, and travels around Bern with minimal fuel consumption.<\/p>\n<p>The entire fit-out is extremely solid, built with first-class equipment, requires low maintenance and involves a limited initial investment.<\/p>\n<p>The efficiency of this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vsveicolispeciali.com\/en\/street-food\/ice-cream-truck\/\" target=\"_blank\"
